TURNING REAL MOMENTS INTO LASTING ART

A young woman in a red graduation gown holding a bouquet of colorful flowers, standing outdoors next to a tree with a green blurred background.
A young girl and a baby boy sitting in front of a fireplace with a roaring fire. The girl is hugging the boy, who has an excited expression with his mouth open. The girl has a small black bow in her hair and is smiling at the camera. The baby is wearing a festive holiday sweater with gingerbread men and Christmas patterns.
A young girl with red hair and blue eyes crawling on a white carpet, smiling and looking at the camera.
A wooden desk with a closed black laptop, a notepad with a pen, a stack of white papers, a small vase with a purple flower, a beige table lamp, a cup on a saucer, and a modern chair.

My path to photography didn’t start with a camera — it started with curiosity. I’m a lifelong nerd who grew up building my own computers, fascinated by how small details come together to create something bigger. That technical mindset shaped how I approach my work, but it was only part of the story.

That balance of structure and creativity was reinforced during my time in the Marine Corps, where precision, reliability, and attention to detail weren’t optional — they were expected. On a wedding day, that means being prepared, staying calm under pressure, and understanding that my role is to follow the plan and execute the bride’s vision with care and respect.

My artistic side eventually led me to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts, where I fell in love with visual storytelling. Somewhere between modern digital gear and old-school craftsmanship, I found my style. From my dad’s film camera to today’s modern mirrorless cameras, I’m reminded that great images aren’t about trends or technology alone, but intention, patience, and emotion.

Today, I blend precision and creativity to capture moments that feel genuine, timeless, and worth holding onto.
